Cargo Loop

A founder running the company's first outbound motion alone used a single small daily limit to keep a ranked queue from turning into another backlog.

The problem

Cargo Loop's founder was doing sales personally, working from a 520-name conference attendee list with no admin support and no time to build a qualification process from scratch. Reading every profile before writing to someone would have taken longer than the sales cycle itself.

The risk wasn't a lack of leads — it was contacting the wrong 25 people this week because there was no ranking behind the list at all, just the order names happened to appear in a spreadsheet.

What they configured

The 520-row export went in as a single import; duplicate detection removed the handful of attendees who'd also filled in Cargo Loop's own contact form. With one outreach owner, distribution didn't matter — every qualifying lead went to the same queue — so the daily limit did the real work, capped at 25 leads a day.

The four-day sequence stayed at the platform default: review the profile, engage with a post, send the connection request, then the AI-drafted message once connected. As a sole operator without an approved LinkedIn API connector, every step appeared as a one-click action in the daily list rather than firing automatically.

“I don't have a sales team. I have a queue, and I work through it every morning before anything else.”

What happened

A 520-lead list turned into a queue of 25 a day, sorted by fit rather than by spreadsheet order, and the founder stopped deciding who to contact and started just working through the list that was already decided. The AI-drafted opener, built from Cargo Loop's own service description, cut the time to send a first message from roughly eight minutes of research to a two-minute review-and-approve.

Positive replies turned into sales tasks automatically, which mattered more for a single-person operation than for a larger team — there was no one else to catch a warm reply if it sat unread in an inbox for a day.
